1961 Series 1 E-Type Cufflinks
Birth of an Icon
When Enzo Ferrari first laid eyes on the Jaguar E-Type, he famously declared it the most beautiful car ever made. These cufflinks capture that unparalleled elegance, allowing you to carry a physical fragment of the world’s most iconic grand tourer on your sleeve.
The Biography of the Metal The aluminium within these cufflinks began its life in 1961, powering a Series 1 Fixed Head Coupé through the golden age of British motoring. Reclaimed from the original pistons of a chassis undergoing a meticulous restoration at the renowned Classic Motor Cars Ltd (CMC) in Shropshire, this metal has been preserved and transformed. Having endured decades of high-performance combustion and thousands of miles on the open road, the material is a direct link to the engineering precision that defined the early Series 1—the most sought-after iteration of the E-Type lineage.
The Founder’s Note There is a specific, cool density to this reclaimed aluminium that modern alloys simply cannot replicate. During our design process, our founder personally handled the original piston components, ensuring that the final cast preserves the tactile soul of the 1961 engine. When you wear these, you feel the substantial weight and the smooth, hand-finished lustre that can only come from a veteran-led workshop dedicated to perfection. It is a piece that feels as significant as the vehicle from which it was forged.
