The Shinkansen, more commonly known as the ‘Bullet Train’ is perhaps the defining icon of modern Japan.  First introduced in time for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, this ground breaking advancement in rail technology set the standard for high speed train travel.  

Now, in collaboration with Central Japan Railway Company, Icarus Originals is proud to let you own a small piece of the Shinkansen story.  Blending Japanese technology with traditional British craftsmanship, this model is made from the prototype of the N700 series – one of the most modern derivatives of the Shinkansen.

Mounted on  a laser etched and numbered base, this product comes complete with certificate of authenticity and a special information booklet in both English and Japanese.
